PROCESS

The PSBS framework shown below is based on proven and successful innovation methods such as lean startup, design thinking, business model generation, outcome-based innovation, blue ocean strategy and others.

Problem

Rather than starting with solutions, we start by exploring the customer’s needs or problems – the functional, social and emotional jobs-to-be-done to be sure you are going after a problem worth solving. Jobs-to-be-done is a very effective innovation method and pioneered by Clayton Christensen and Strategyn. Learn more about the jobs-to-be-done method here.

Solution

Instead of developing full-scale products, we are leveraging theoretical and virtual prototypes of multiple solution dimensions. Then we help iterating on each solution to develop a minimal viable prototype and eventually a minimum awesome product – a solution that evokes positive emotions because the customer is surprised by how much better the offering is than competitive offerings.

Business model

Once the solution or value proposition is nailed, it is time to start validating the other components of the business model, including the pricing strategy, the customer acquisition strategy, and the cost structure strategy.

Scale

It is very important you nail it before scaling it. In this phase, we will help you to transform from entrepreneurial management to traditional management by recognising when and how to conduct market scaling, process scaling and team scaling.

Scale acceleration

Speed is very important when launching a new product and service. Helsengreen & Co works with various startup accelerators and individual investors to speed up the growth in your startup by adding capital and expert resources at the right time in the process.
